Week 12 Outlook
Availability
DeAngelo Hall suffered a torn ACL in a win against the Giants in Week 3. Hall looked solid in his transition from CB to FS, making his loss a huge loss in the secondary. Saftey Will Blackmon, who also transitioned from CB to FS, will start in his place.
Fantasy Impact
The Redskins are a DST unit to avoid moving forward except for possibly Week 4 as they face the Browns and their third-string QB. With Hall out and CB Breeland out multiple weeks, they're a one week streaming option at best right now.
Master Tesfatsion on Twitter reports Chris Culliver and DeAngelo Hall were doing position drills during individuals at practice Monday.
Fantasy Impact
The Redskins have the tall task of going into Foxboro next Sunday to face the high powered Patriots offense. If they can get two starters it may go a long way in helping them stay competitive in the game.
DeAngelo Hall is expected to miss several weeks due to a toe injury that occurred Week 3 against the New York Giants. Bashaud Breeland is expected to start in his absence.
Fantasy Impact
It could have been worse, as it appeared to be a major injury to the knee or Achilles tendon. The fact that he will return at any point is good news for the Redskin secondary that once again must shuffle players around in preparation for Week 4. After a solid start to the season, the Redskins defense gave up some big plays in Week 3 and that trend looks likely to continue into this week's matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles.
John Keim reports that CB DeAngelo Hall left in the third quarter with a toe injury while guard Shawn Lauvao left in the first half with an ankle injury.
Fantasy Impact
Hall is their best defender and if he misses time, look for opponents to take advantage of an already weak secondary. If Lauvao misses time, it will hurt the running game which a week after putting up 182 yards, managed only 57 on the ground.
Deangelo Hall expected to miss at least a week after injuring his groin in practice on Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact
The injury is no expected to be serious and Hall is still expected to be ready when the regular season kicks off but this is a situation to monitor throughout camp.
