Daryl Worley
CB - Tennessee Titans
Week 13 Outlook
Availability
The Baltimore Ravens re-signed Daryl Worley on a one-year deal.
Fantasy Impact
Worley has made three starts and played in 21 games for Baltimore the past few seasons. He'll compete for a roster spot in training camp to add depth in the secondary for the Ravens.
CB Daryl Worley was released by the Cowboys Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact
Worley signed a one-year deal with the Cowboys during the off-season, but was ultimately released. He played a total of 210 defensive snaps and racked up 14 tackles over six games this year. Worley will look to latch onto another team looking to add depth at cornerback.
The Cowboys and veteran cornerback Daryl Worley have agreed to terms on a one-year deal.
Fantasy Impact
Worley was drafted out of the third round in 2016 by the Panthers. After two years in Carolina he was moved to Oakland where he quickly worked his way up to the starting lineup, taking the first defensive snap is all 15 games he played last season. Trevon Diggs was just drafted 51st overall out of Alabama and is assumed to be an instant starter for the Cowboys. Worley is a low-risk veteran that can mentor their rookie corner and is still young enough to start if Diggs's learning curve is a bit longer than anticipated.
Raiders cornerback Daryl Worley is listed as questionable for Thursday night’s game against 49ers with a shoulder injury.
Fantasy Impact
Worley was a limited participant in every practice this week. With Gareon Conley (foot) also questionable, the Raiders are thin at the cornerback position after Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie retired at the beginning of the week.
Raiders cornerback Daryl Worley was suspended four games without pay on Friday for violating the league’s personal conduct policy.
Fantasy Impact
Worley was arrested on a number of gun-related charges as well as DUI back in April. He had been battling with CB Gareon Conley throughout camp towards earning a starting spot on opening day. Not only will that not happen, but there is now a chance Worley won’t even have a role when he returns week 5 against the Chargers. If there’s any good news for Oakland in this situation (there really isn’t), it is that his roster spot will not count against the 53-man roster. Oakland’s defensive side of the ball is officially in shambles.
