Darrell Taylor
DE - Chicago Bears
Week 12 Outlook
Availability
Bears DL Darrell Taylor (knee) is officially inactive for Week 10.
Fantasy Impact
Taylor was downgraded on Friday to a limited participant in practice. Despite being listed as questionable, he will miss Sunday's matchup with New England.
Seattle Seahawks defensive end Darrell Taylor is inactive for Monday Night Football against the New Orleans Saints.
Fantasy Impact
Taylor was limited on Thursday, DNP on Friday, and limited on Saturday, putting him as a legit question mark for tonight’s contest. His absence is welcomed news for Jameis Winston and the Saints offensive line. Taylor is in the midst of a breakout redshirt rookie campaign after missing his entire rookie season with an injury. He has tallied four sacks in five full games (he left the game with a scary injury in Week 6) and is emerging as one of the premier young edge defenders in the league. Winston should have more average time before being pressured with Taylor sidelined.
The Seattle Seahawks have selected defensive end Darrell Taylor with the No. 48 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft after acquiring the pick from the New York Jets.
Fantasy Impact
The Seahawks traded picks No. 59 and 101 overall to move up to 48 to select the edge rusher out of Tennessee. He’ll join up with Seattle’s first-round selection LB Jordyn Brooks as the Seahawks clearly have a strategy in mind that focuses on the defensive side of the ball. Taylor registered 8.5 sacks last season with the Volunteers and could be Seattle’s insurance policy if they cannot bring back All-Pro DE Jadeveon Clowney. With his ability to get after the passer, Taylor could have some appeal in IDP leagues.
