Tomlinson was expected to be a hot free agent name along the defensive line if the Giants failed to retain him and that's exactly what happened. The Vikings gave Tomlinson, 27-years old, a two-year, $22M deal with $16M fully guaranteed. This was a move that the Vikings almost had to make given their defensive struggles last year and the recent rumors that Danielle Hunter is unhappy with his contract.
