Week 12 Outlook
Availability
Corey Grant (foot) will be placed on injured reserve and won't have a chance to return this season, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Fantasy Impact
Grant suffered a Lisfranc injury during Sunday's 30-14 loss to Kansas City. The 26-year-old running back looked like he may be carving out a role in the Jaguar offense but that hope has ended. Fantasy owners should be moving on and if T.J. Yeldon is available he should be grabbed as he will be carrying the workload in Week 6 at running back for the Jaguars.
Corey Grant is believed to have suffered a Lisfranc injury that will likely end his season, Adam Schefter of ESPN.com reports.
Fantasy Impact
This could be disappointing news for Grant and his owners as he was just starting to break out with the opportunity in the Jaguars backfield. If the 26-year-old running back is done for the year the Jaguars will need help in the backfield as Leonard Fournette may miss Week 6 which would leave just T.J. Yeldon and Brandon Wilds. Keep an eye on updates.
Corey Grant got knocked out of Sunday's loss with the Chiefs after rushing one time for eight yards and did not return to action.
Fantasy Impact
The seriousness of the foot injury is not known at this point. Fantasy owners should keep an eye on updates this week regarding Grant. If he is out in Week 6 then look for T.J. Yeldon and Brandon Wilds to get most of the work at running back.
Corey Grant should have a significant role in the Jacksonville offense with Leonard Fournette (hamstring) ruled out for Sunday's game in Kansas City, Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com reports.
Fantasy Impact
Grant and T.J. Yeldon will see the bulk of work at running back with Grant taking on more of the third down back role. Grant is a good pickup in deeper PPR fantasy leagues.
Corey Grant rushed once for five yards and caught two passes for 12 yards in Week 4 as the Jaguars defeated the Jets by a 31-12 score.
Fantasy Impact
Grant looked like he might be able to pass T.J. Yeldon as the #2 running back behind Leonard Fournette after a strong game in Week 2 but Yeldon looks to have the role firmly in hand. Grant may see an increase in snaps in Week 5 if Fournette is out but will not see enough to make an impact for fantasy owners.
