Stroud engineered a 69-yard touchdown drive on the Texans' first possession of the game and was then pulled for Davis Mills. The second-year quarterback suffered from a sophomore slump in 2024, throwing for 3,727 yards, 20 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions. He will now begin preparing to host the Chargers in the wild-card round of the playoffs on Saturday.

Stroud has made the most of inconsistent play behind center of late, tossing multiple touchdowns in three of his last four games. The second-year signal caller will look to offer fantasy managers a more consistent outing in a Week 17 contest against the Baltimore Ravens on Christmas Day.

Stroud had a decent fantasy performance despite the low yardage total. The two touchdown passes salvaged his day, and he avoided throwing any interceptions. He has now thrown multiple touchdowns in two of his last three games. Stroud has a difficult matchup in Week 16 against the Kansas City Chiefs.
