C.J. Prosise has been ruled out for Week 15 against the Colts due to a neck injury.

Fantasy Impact

Prosise will not play along with Duke Johnson, who is out with a neck injury. Prosise is third in the pecking order for carries, and with David Johnson somewhat healthy, he'll be shouldering the load against the Colts. Prosise doesn't need to be rostered with only one week left in the fantasy season.

C.J. Prosise rushed one time for two yards and caught his only target for 10 additional yards on Sunday as the Texans lost to the Bears by a 36-7 score in Week 14 action.

Prosise was the backup to Duke Johnson and looked like he could be a factor on Sunday but only saw two touches. The veteran running back can be left on the waiver wire in all fantasy formats.

Prosise was sent to the hospital with a stomach illness (not related to COVID-19) and will not play in Week 13. The Texans are expected to activate David Johnson from IR. Prosise will look to return for Week 14’s matchup against the Bears. David Johnson and Duke Johnson will handle the Texans’ backfield this Sunday.

C.J. Prosise rushed five times for 17 yards and caught one of two targets for an additional two yards and a touchdown on Thursday as the Texans beat the Lions by a 41-25 score in Week 12 action.

Fantasy Impact

Prosise has moved into the backup role at running back behind Duke Johson while David Johnson is out with a concussion. The 26-year-old has never made much of an impact in the NFL and can be left on the waiver wire.

C.J. Prosise ran three times for four yards and two passes for eight yards on Sunday as the Texans beat the Patriots by a 27-20 score in Week 11 action.
