Week 13 Outlook
Availability
Wide receiver Chris Owusu has a concussion, Jets head coach Todd Bowles told reporters after Saturday's Green & White scrimmage. According to Bowles, Owusu picked up the concussion in Friday's practice and sat out Saturday as he continues with the league's concussion protocol.
Fantasy Impact
Owusu has quietly been having a good training camp for the team. But with outside receivers Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker, as well as Jeremy Kerley ahead of him on the depth chart, Owusu will be competing with the likes of TJ Graham and Devin Smith for the fourth receiving role.
Chris Owusu scored a touchdown along the ground, had a big reception to set up his own score and also added an 87 yard kick return to cap off an impressive day as the New York Jets defeated the Miami Dolphins 37-24. Owusu saw more field time after Percy Harvin was listed as inactive for the Week 17 matchup.
Fantasy Impact
It is unlikely that Owusu will a prominent part of the Jets' offensive plans going forward, and will most likely be a bit-part player. But he could be a candidate to get more game time for New York next season, and so his fantasy value could end up rising.
