Week 16 Outlook
Availability
The Jaguars signed TE Chris Myarick.
Fantasy Impact
Myarick caught 10 passes in a limited role across two seasons with the Giants in 2021 and 2022. He will compete for a depth role in the Jaguars tight end room throughout training camp.
The Giants placed TE Chris Myarick on season-ending injured reserve Monday.
Fantasy Impact
Myarick suffered a broken hand in the Giants’ preseason finale and will now miss the entire 2023 season. The Giants will likely turn to Lawrence Cager or Tommy Sweeney as the team’s third tight end behind Darren Waller and Daniel Bellinger.
Chris Myarick hauled in his lone target for a 1-yard touchdown in the Giants' 21-20 win over the Titans.
Fantasy Impact
Despite his touchdown catch, Myarick should not be on fantasy managers' radars going forward. The third-year pro rotates with fellow backup tight end Tanner Hudson, who is also behind Daniel Bellinger on the depth chart.
Chris Myarick caught both of his two targets for 11 yards and a touchdown in win over the Eagles.
Fantasy Impact
Myarick was activated from practice squad to fill in for Kyle Rudolph against the Eagles and he left the game with a touchdown. Unfortunately for Myarick he will most likely not get playing time when Rudolph returns to action. In the meantime, you can monitor the situation but in all reality Evan Engram is the number one tight end for the Giants and Daniel Jones. Myarick does not have any fantasy relevant value currently and is not worth rostering.
Chris Myarick hauled in his lone target against the Cincinnati Bengals during the teams' preseason finale. Myarick high-pointed a Haily Mary attempt by QB Reid Sinnett to down the Bengals 29-26.
Fantasy Impact
Myarick has been on the Dolphins' practice squad the past two seasons. He was called up to the 53-man roster four times last season. The former Temple Owl had an eye-popping 6-78 receiving line in the preseason his rookie year as well.
