Captain Munnerlyn's sack is a little notable as cornerbacks normally are not put in a position to record a sack in a game. He finished the contest with three total tackles with the one sack.

Fantasy Impact

Fantasy owners may want to keep an eye on how Munnerlyn is used going forward as long as free safety Kurt Coleman (knee) is out. It may be a matter of utilizing the cornerback in the best possible way until Coleman returns.

Captain Munnerlyn re-unites with the Panthers after spending the past three seasons in Minnesota. The Panthers drafted Munnerlyn in the 7th round of the 2009 draft and he will return home on a four-year $21 million deal. Munnerlyn will be a solid upgrade at slot corner this season.

Fantasy Impact

James Bradberry is taking over for Josh Norman in Carolina while the Panthers are really trying to upgrade their defense and Munnerlyn will be a great addition. Daryl Worley will start opposite Bradberry and the Panthers could draft another CB.
