CB - Carolina Panthers
Week 17 Outlook
Availability
Caleb Farley has been released by the Tennessee Titans.
Fantasy Impact
Tennessee used a first-round pick on Farley back in 2021, but now the team is moving on from him. He has struggled with injuries and personal issues throughout his time with the Titans, but he was finally able to take the field in last Sunday's preseason game for the first time in 651 days. He should find a home either on an active roster or a practice squad prior to the start of the regular season, given the potential upside that he still has as a young and talented cornerback.
Titans coach Brian Callahan said Caleb Farley will miss “a few weeks” with a hamstring injury.
Fantasy Impact
Farley had returned to practice on Wednesday, but he'll now miss the next few weeks. That timeline puts him likely sidelined through the end of August.
Titans DB Caleb Farley (hamstring) returned to practice Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact
Farley was injured in practice Sunday, but his return to practice is a positive sign. He is competing for a depth role in the Titans’ secondary.
The Tennessee Titans have officially signed their first-round pick CB Caleb Farley.
Fantasy Impact
Farley was a dynamic playmaker in the Virginia Tech secondary, and if he can stay healthy he will be an excellent addition to the Titans defense.
The Tennessee Titans have selected cornerback Caleb Farley with the No. 22 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
Fantasy Impact
The Tennessee Titans' willingness to exercise patience has resulted in another draft day steal. Caleb Farley is a physical corner with great size and speed. He has all the tools of a future number one corner and may very well have been the first defensive back off the board if not for recent back surgery. Farley may not make much of a rookie year impact but will form an exciting cornerback duo of the future with Kristian Fulton. Farley is a top-10 talent in the 2021 NFL Draft class. The rich get richer.
