QB - Carolina Panthers
This Week Outlook
Availability
Bryce Young completed 25-of-34 passes for 251 yards and three touchdowns in the Panthers 44-38 win over the Falcons. He also rushed for 24 yards and two touchdowns on five attempts.
Fantasy Impact
Young capped off his second NFL season in strong fashion, leaving the Panthers and fantasy managers with plenty of hope for continued development next season. Young found Miles Sanders, Tommy Tremble, and David Moore for his three touchdown strikes against Atlanta. He tallied 2,403 passing yards, 15 touchdowns, and nine interceptions in 14 games this season.
Panthers head coach Dave Canales said the team will play its starters in Week 18 against the Falcons.
Fantasy Impact
The Panthers have been more competitive (until last week) ever since Bryce Young returned at quarterback and they'll look to finish the season on a high note. They'll be taking on Atlanta who needs a win and a Saints upset over the Buccaneers to win the division and make the playoffs.
Bryce Young completed 15 of 28 passes for 203 yards and two touchdowns in the Carolina Panthers' 48-14 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. Both touchdowns were to Adam Thielen, who had five catches for 110 yards. The Panthers' offense struggled without injured running back Chuba Hubbard, managing only 39 rushing yards.
Fantasy Impact
Young's performance yielded modest fantasy results, with his two touchdown passes providing some value. However, the Panthers' offensive struggles and lack of a balanced attack limit his upside. Fantasy managers should be cautious about relying on Young as a starting option, especially against formidable defenses.
Bryce Young was a full participant at practice on Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact
It is noteworthy that Young is on the injury report to begin with. He should still be good to go for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers.
Bryce Young completed 17-of-26 passes for 158 yards and two touchdowns in the Panthers 36-30 win over the Cardinals.
Fantasy Impact
Young was able to add another 68 yards and a score on the ground as a rusher. He was able to make some tough passes under pressure all afternoon against Arizona. He'll face a vulnerable Buccaneers secondary next week.
