In his start this season against Green Bay, he completed 13 of 28 passes for 130 yards and an interception. He has four career starts, including three with the Denver Broncos where he spent his first three seasons. The Jets also released the recently benched QB Tim Boyle, making Rypien one of their three QBs alongside Trevor Siemian and Zach Wilson, who was demoted to third-string.
