Brenton Strange
TE - Jacksonville Jaguars - Questionable
Availability
Brenton Strange caught 2-of-4 targets for 22 yards in the Jaguars 19-14 loss against the Raiders.
Fantasy Impact
After a big performance last week, Strange was quiet in Sunday's loss. He also lost a fumble. He'll be a TE2 play next week against the Titans.
Brenton Strange (shoulder) was officially limited in Jacksonville's practice on Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact
A shoulder injury prevented Strange from logging a full practice on Wednesday. He was heavily involved in Week 15 in the absence of Evan Engram (shoulder), so the team would greatly benefit from him being healthy for their matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday.
Brenton Strange caught 11 of 12 targets for 73 yards in the Jaguars' 32-25 loss to the Jets on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact
It was by far a season-high in targets, receptions, and yards for Strange, who was filling in for the injured Evan Engram. He was confined to only short gains, his longest reception was nine yards, but he made up for it with sheer volume. He could be an interesting play next week against the Raiders.
Brenton Strange caught two of his three targets for 25 yards in a 12-7 loss to the Vikings in Week 10.
Fantasy Impact
Strange finished second on the Jaguars in receiving in the low-scoring loss. The veteran tight end will be a low-end TE2 heading into Week 11 against Detroit.
Jacksonville Jaguars TE Brenton Strange saw a team-high five targets (tied with two others) for a season-best five receptions, resulting in 59 yards in a losing effort.
Fantasy Impact
Strange's involvement is sudden, as he had two and zero targets in Weeks 6 and 7, respectively, coinciding with TE Evan Engram's return from his hamstring injury. However, with WR health being an issue in Week 8, Strange was more active, playing his highest number of passing-down snaps since Week 5. His usage should be monitored going forward, as Engram has consecutive games with fewer than 40 yards since his 102-yard return.
