Brenton Strange
TE - Jacksonville Jaguars
Availability
Brenton Strange caught two of his three targets for 25 yards in a 12-7 loss to the Vikings in Week 10.
Fantasy Impact
Strange finished second on the Jaguars in receiving in the low-scoring loss. The veteran tight end will be a low-end TE2 heading into Week 11 against Detroit.
Jacksonville Jaguars TE Brenton Strange saw a team-high five targets (tied with two others) for a season-best five receptions, resulting in 59 yards in a losing effort.
Fantasy Impact
Strange's involvement is sudden, as he had two and zero targets in Weeks 6 and 7, respectively, coinciding with TE Evan Engram's return from his hamstring injury. However, with WR health being an issue in Week 8, Strange was more active, playing his highest number of passing-down snaps since Week 5. His usage should be monitored going forward, as Engram has consecutive games with fewer than 40 yards since his 102-yard return.
Brenton Strange caught all four of his targets for 24 yards and a touchdown in a 37-34 win over the Colts in Week 5.
Fantasy Impact
Strange found the end zone for the second time in the past three games when he pulled down a four-yard pass from Trevor Lawrence in the fourth quarter. The veteran tight end will continue to operate as the team's No. 1 option at the position for as long as Evan Engram (hamstring) is sidelined. Strange will be on the streaming radar in Week 6 against the Bears if Engram is not ready to return to the field.
Brenton Strange caught all three of his targets for 19 yards in the loss to Houston.
Fantasy Impact
Strange continues to see a violate target share in a struggling Jaguars' offense. Fantasy managers can likely find a strong streaming option heading into a Week 5 matchup with the Colts.
Brenton Strange caught two passes for 12 yards and a touchdown in Monday's 47-10 loss to the Buffalo Bills.
Fantasy Impact
Strange wasn't very involved on Monday night, but he was the only Jaguars player to find the end zone in their blowout loss to the Bills. He saw more work than usual with Evan Engram (hamstring) unavailable to play, but that probably won't be the case in the near future.
