Brennan Scarlett

Week 13 Outlook
Availability
Former Houston Texans OLB Brennan Scarlett has reportedly signed a deal with the Miami Dolphins, per Aaron Wilson.
Fantasy Impact
Scarlett totaled 28 tackles and one TFL across 11 games for the Texans in 2020 and will add depth to an outstanding linebacking core in Miami. The fifth-year linebacker will look to make an impression on head coach Brian Flores, a defensive mastermind who could utilize his tough tackling in a rotation to preserve starters Jerome Baker and Emmanuel Ogbah throughout the 2021 season.
Brennan Scarlett recorded two solo tackles, one TFL, two sacks, two QB hits, and a forced fumble as the Texans defeated the Jaguars 26-3.
Fantasy Impact
Scarlett's game kind of appeared out of the blue, as he hit season-bests in TFLs, sacks, and QB hits. While it's unclear if his big day came about solely because of JJ Watt's absence, he might be an intriguing add if he can sustain a semblance of this production.
In the midst of Jadeveon Clowney’s contract dispute with the team, outside linebacker Brennan Scarlett has signed a one-year extension.
Fantasy Impact
Scarlett has played a versatile role in the defense, lining up at both inside and outside linebacker, while also playing a role on the special teams unit. Should things with Clowney continue to stagnate, Scarlett could be worth a late-round IDP pick.
Brennan Scarlett recorded two sacks on four total tackles in the Texans' loss to the Rams.
Fantasy Impact
A bit of a career game for the second year undrafted free agent, who recorded the first two sacks of his career on Sunday. Scarlett currently doesn't hold any fantasy value.
