Philadelphia Eagles veteran edge rusher Brandon Graham confirmed to reporters that 2024 will be his final season in the NFL: "I know this is my last year."
Fantasy Impact
This comes as no surprise as Graham — who is 36 years old — is entering his 15th season as a pro and playing on a one-year deal. Graham has played for the Eagles his entire career, being drafted in 2010 and earning career numbers of 344 tackles, 120 TFLs (second in Philly history) and 73 sacks (fourth in team history). He has one Pro Bowl and one Super Bowl to his name as well. Graham has the opportunity to move up on the organization's all-time sacks and TFL lists this season as well while playing alongside a talented DL.
According to Tim McManus of ESPN, DL Brandon Graham is signing a one-year deal worth $6 million to stay in Philadelphia for a 14th season.
Fantasy Impact
Even at the age of 34, Graham was still productive on a stacked Eagles defense in 2022, racking up a career-high 11.0 sacks. Graham has still shown an ability to get to the passer and will add veteran leadership to the Eagles. Graham had the opportunity to test free agency but opted to stay in Philly.
Per Adam Schefter, Brandon Graham (torn Achilles) is out for the season.
Fantasy Impact
During the game against the 49ers on Sunday, Graham suffered an Achillies injury where an MRI confirmed it was a tear. He will miss the remainder of the 2021 season.
Per Jeremey Fowler of ESPN, Brandon Graham's new deal with Philadelphia will be a one-year extension worth close to $20 million over two years, per source. Was originally due $13 million this year.
Fantasy Impact
After another standout season, the long time Eagles starter who has 59 sacks with the team inked a new deal that will keep him in Philadelphia for another two seasons. Graham has a career PFF grade of 92.1, tied for third best.
