Bo Scarbrough
RB - FA
2024 Outlook
Availability
Seahawks RB Bo Scarbrough had to have surgery on his hamstring and will be out the remainder of the season.
Fantasy Impact
Scarbrough tore his hamstring in his first game with the Seahawks and now he’ll miss the remainder of the season.
The Seahawks activated Bo Scarbrough from their practice squad prior to Week 11 against the Cardinals.
Fantasy Impact
Alex Collins was not activated, which is a bit of a surprise after he ran for 43 yards and a touchdown in Week 10 against the Rams. Scarbrough will back up Carlos Hyde alongside DeeJay Dallas on Thursday night.
Detroit Lions RB Bo Scarbrough has been activated from Injured Reserve on Saturday.
Fantasy Impact
Scarbrough is being activated for the first time this season. He'll rejoin a crowded backfield led by Adrian Peterson and D'Andre Swift, with Kerryon Johnson as a distant third in the pecking order. Fantasy managers can ignore Scarbrough unless there are injuries to the preceding runningbacks.
Bo Scarbrough made Detroit's final 53-man roster on Saturday before subsequently being moved to IR to allow the Adrian Peterson signing. This move creates the ability for the Lions to bring Scarbrough back from IR after Week 3 if he is deemed healthy enough to return.
Fantasy Impact
Scarbrough has been dealing with an undisclosed injury since the start of Lions training camp. The physical down-hill runner provides value in goal-line territory and is an asset in the Detroit backfield. Scarbrough should remain on fantasy waiver wires until his potential return off IR in Week 4.
Bo Scarborough carried nine times for 42 yards in the Lions’ 23-20 loss to the Packers on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact
After dominating touches for weeks, Scarborough once again played second-fiddle to Kerryon Johnson. The former is only a viable fantasy option if given a high-volume of touches. He should start the 2020 season on the bench.
