Blidi Wreh-Wilson
CB -
Week 9 Outlook
Availability
Atlanta has agreed to a one-year contract extension with backup cornerback Blidi Wreh-Wilson, per a release on the team’s official website.
Fantasy Impact
Wreh-Wilson is merely a depth player and will earn his living on special teams unless there would be many injuries ahead of him in 2018.
Paul Kuharsky reports on ESPN.com Blidi Wreh-Wilson is getting a look as the nickel cornerback for the Titans defense.
Fantasy Impact
Wreh-Wilson struggled in his first year as the second starting CB last season opposite Jason McCourty. In the offseason the Titans signed Perrish Cox out of free agency presumably to fill the starting CB spot this season. So Blidi is left searching for a new role on this team. They are trying him out in the slot as the third CB. He has good size, but lacks the instincts and quickness to flourish at the position. Maybe Blidi can prove the naysayers wrong, but I wouldn't bet on it. He isn't even close to the IDP radar at this point.
