This Week Outlook

Blake Sims participated in the throwing portion of the Alabama Pro Day, but also fielded requests to catch the ball out of the backfield and also run routes. Sims stated "I'm no Amari Cooper," Sims joked afterwards. "It was kind of different. Six weeks ago I was throwing touchdowns, and now I'm running routes."
Fantasy Impact
It seems that Sims just wants to get drafted, position be darned. If Sims was to stay at QB, Tim Tebow and Terrelle Pryor have proved that you don't exactly need to be the worlds' greatest passer to be fantasy relevant as a scrambler, like Sims would be. If he switches position he's still interesting, but for fantasy purposes you want Sims to stay at QB.
According to ESPN's Mel Kiper stated that at QB, Alabama's Blake SIms is a "Blake is probably an undrafted free agent more than likely," Kiper said. "Maybe you change positions with him. There's a possibility there that maybe he could."
Fantasy Impact
Sims is 5'11, and while the recent success of Russell Wilson has shown that short quarterbacks can make it, he's still an anomaly. It wouldn't be the first time Sims would've needed to be versatile, as he's played multiple positions while in college. Look for Sims to be undrafted as a QB and reluctantly accept a move to either RB or DB.
Blake Sims was able to lead the Alabama Crimson Tide to the SEC title, but may not have a future in the NFL.
Fantasy Impact
Sims was already seen as a sixth or seventh round draft pick and the eighth ranked QB in a weak QB class and his performance in Senior Bowl practices did nothing to help his stock. Although other top QB prospects had weak appearances as well, Sims was especially shaky, particularly with errant passes and interceptions. None of the quarterbacks were able to separate from the pack in Mobile, but Sims will have another chance today in the Senior Bowl game. A good game may be the difference of if Sims is drafted or not.
