The Houston Texans are working out RB Artavis Pierce.

Pierce has played in six games the last two seasons with the Bears. The former undrafted free agent out of Oregon State will look to join what is a relatively open situation in the Texans backfield.

Pierce took two rare carries in this one and punched one in for an even rarer score. He's not on the fantasy radar for Week 17 with David Montgomery firmly cemented as Chicago's bell-cow.

When Montgomery went down with a groin injury a few weeks ago, many thought Pierce would get a shot at some touches in the backfield. That won’t happen, as he’s been cut.
