Andre Branch and the Dolphins have come to terms on a three-year contract worth $27 million. Branch came to Miami as a free agent after playing four seasons for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Fantasy Impact
The Dolphins keep an solid player who came off the bench supplanting original starter Mario Williams. He had a career-high 49 tackles last season and was one of the few defensive bright spots on a unit that allowed 140.4 rush yards per game and ranked 30th in the NFL.
The Dolphins signed former Jacksonville Jaguar defensive end Andre Branch to a one-year deal worth up to $3 million. Branch is four-year veteran who has played his entire career with the Jaguars.
Fantasy Impact
This is a move for depth for a defense whose depth failed the Dolphins in 2015. He's likely to be part of the defensive line rotation similar to Cameron Wake and Derrick Shelby's role last year.
