A.J. Epenesa
DE - Buffalo Bills
Week 11 Outlook
Availability
The Bills are bringing back A.J. Epenesa on a two-year deal.
Fantasy Impact
Epenesa will remain with Buffalo after spending the first year years of his career with the Bills. He recorded 6.5 sacks for the second straight year last season to go along with the first two interceptions of his career.
A.J. Epenesa is day to day with his rib injury.
Fantasy Impact
Epenesa has missed each of the last two weeks due to a rib injury, but head coach Sean McDermott said the fourth-year pass rusher's condition is improving. Epenesa has racked up 6.5 sacks over 13 games so far this season.
Former Iowa DE A.J. Epenesa, the No. 54 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, has officially signed his rookie deal with the Buffalo Bills.
Fantasy Impact
Epenesa was projected by some to be a first-round pick in this year’s Draft, but slid all the way to No. 54. The Eagles were said to be interested in the former Hawkeye with the 53rd pick, but they instead decided to make the most controversial selection in the Draft by taking Oklahoma QB Jalen Hurts. Epenesa finds himself on a good defense in Buffalo and should be able to produce right away after having a very productive collegiate career. In his three-year college career, he totaled 101 tackles, 26.5 sacks, and eight forced fumbles.
The Buffalo Bills have selected defensive end A.J. Epenesa with the No. 54 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
Fantasy Impact
The Bills use their first pick of the 2020 draft to add to their defensive line. The edge rusher out of Iowa is capable of playing on all three downs. However, he lacks speeds and isn’t considered the most explosive rusher.
