Ben Braunecker promoted to active roster

Ben Braunecker was promoted to the active roster from the practice squad after missing the majority of the preseason with an ankle injury. (Chicago Tribune)
Fantasy Impact:
Braunecker is currently the third string tight end for Chicago behind Zach Miller and Logan Paulsen. Miller did sit out of practice today with a rib injury, but how serious his injury is remains to be seen. Braunecker is best left on the waiver wire for now unless Miller misses a significant amount of time.
