James Starks turns in backup-level performance

James Starks produced 22 yards rushing on 7 attempts Friday against the 49ers, adding one reception for two yards.
Fantasy Impact:
Starks provided decent fantasy value last fall in Eddie Lacy's absence but hasn't made much of a statement this preseason, averaging more than 4 yards per carry just once In three games. It's unlikely he'll threaten Lacy for touches this year barring injury or a repeat of Lacy's 2015 struggles with fitness and should be drafted only as a handcuff-level tailback.
