Keith Marshall suffers injury in third preseason contest
by Anthony Cervino | Sat, Aug 27th 2:34pm EDT
Washington Redskins RB Keith Marshall (elbow) exited Friday night's preseason contest against the Buffalo Bills after his first carry of the night with a sprained elbow. Marshall will undergo an MRI on Saturday to determine the severity of the ailment. (ESPN)
Fantasy Impact:
Marshall is in the midst of a preseason position battle with Rob Kelley for the No. 3 running back spot on Washinton's depth chart. Reports suggest that Marshall's durability is a concern for the Redskins and this injury could further push Kelley ahead of the rookie rusher. Both backs should remain on the waiver wire to start the upcoming fantasy football campaign.
