Jace Amaro stepping up at training camp

Brian Costello of The New York Post believes that Jets tight end Jace Amaro has stood out through the early part of training camp. (New York Post)

"He is making a lot of catches, including a few diving ones, and has been a noticeable target in red-zone drills," said Costello. The Jets could use someone to step up behind Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker, and Amaro stands the best chance of doing that. His first few years in the leagues have been marred by bad play and injury, but he could finally be turning a corner. He is worth keeping an eye on in all formats as a possible TE2.
