There has been plenty of hype this offseason surrounding Buffalo Bills WR Dezmin Lewis stemming from his second offseason of workouts in the league. Offensive coordinator Greg Roman told the team's official website that "Dez Lewis is really making huge year one to year two strides" entering the 2016 season. " “He is a guy in the weight room, meeting room, he is here first thing in the morning. He one of those guys that we started to take notice of before we even got on the field. What usually happens is what they do in the meetings, weight room, etcetera carries over to the field. Those two are very interconnected. His play on the field has reflected that.†(The Official Website of the Buffalo BIlls)
Fantasy Impact:
Dezmin Lewis could be a player to watch at the wide receiver position in 2016 as a deep sleeper from the Buffalo Bills. Lewis garnered the attention and hype from team brass this offseason which could translate to playing time in the regular season. The Bills lost Chris Hogan via free agency this year, a departure that opens the door for someone to step up to fill his spot on the depth chart. Buffalo appears to be light at the wide receiver position outside of starters Sammy Watkins and Robert Woods. Lewis is currently slated to be their No. 3 and slot man with not much competition behind him. If he holds onto that spot, consider Lewis a WR5 with upside heading into the upcoming fantasy football campaign as he can add quality depth to an owners' bench especially in PPR formats.
