RB Wendell Smallwood needs to improve pass protection

After a thorough film review, Philly Voice staff writer Jimmy Kempski believes Eagles running back Wendell Smallwood will "probably never be a short-yardage guy, but he can eventually stay on the field if the Eagles can coax more effort and teach him better technique in pass protection." Fantasy Impact:
Kempski also calls Smallwood a home run threat who could compliment a more complete running back. All told, it sounds like Smallwood has a lot of work to do if he is to gain the trust of the coaches, which means he may struggle for playing time despite the lack of depth at the position. For the moment, he is only a stash in dynasty leagues.
