Baltimore Ravens resigned cornerback Shareece Wright to a three-year contract, according to the team's website. Wright fought hard to earn a spot on the team and came back strong after his shaky start against his former team, the San Francisco 49ers. (Baltimore Ravens )

During the second half of the season, the Ravens defense gave up the second-fewest yards (291.1) per game. Wright went from giving up 132 yards in his first game as a Raven to giving up 256 yards for the next 10 games. With Lardarius Webb being moved to safety, Wright and Smith as starters can be great at stopping the run or pass. Wright ended the season with 40 tackles, five passes defensed in 11 games.
