New Orleans Saints quarterback Jake Haener is expected to miss a couple of weeks with an oblique strain suffered on May 21. He should be ready to return for the start of training camp. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
While he is expected to return in a few weeks, Haener is currently embroiled in a three-person quarterback competition. With rookie Tyler Shough and second-year QB Spencer Rattler in tow, the former Fresno State Bulldog has an uphill battle to start in 2025. He started one game in 2024, a loss where he gained just 0.4 adjusted yards per pass attempt with three sacks and an interception.
