It seems unlikely that the Falcons will move forward with Cousins and his $40 million cap hit next season. It is possible the Falcons look to trade him. If they're unable to, they'll likely eventually release him. He holds a pre-June 1 dead cap hit of $65 million and a post-June 1 dead cap hit of $40 million.
