Drew Lock pumpkins against Philadelphia backups

by Garrett Ball | Giants Correspondent | Mon, Jan 6th 7:28am EST

Drew Lock completed 22-of-29 passes for 138 yards with a touchdown and a pick in the Giants' 20-13 loss to the Eagles on Sunday. He also ran twice for three yards.

Fantasy Impact:

A week after torching the Colts secondary, Lock turned back into the quarterback most people believed he was: a backup. His accuracy was great, but getting just 4.8 YPA is less than ideal, especially against backups. His future is uncertain with the Giants still looking for their franchise QB, but after the team traded away Daniel Jones and the unlikihood of them being able to draft a QB with a high pick, Lock might find himself back in New York next year as a bridge QB.
