Mixon suffered the injury during a hip drop tackle. "The NFL and NFLPA made it a rule and an emphasis for a reason," Mixon posted Sunday night. "Time to put your money where your mouth is." If Mixon is sidelined in Week 3, Cam Akers could lead the backfield with Dameon Pierce also dealing with an injury.
