McCaffrey was surprisingly held out of the team's season opener because of a lingering Achilles injury, and it looks like he may miss San Francisco's next game as well. He's reportedly day-to-day for the time being, but it seems to be a lingering issue that may take real time to fully heal. This is a devastating blow for fantasy managers if it turns out to be true, but it would once again propel Jordan Mason into the RB2 range for the week.
