Cam Akers is officially inactive for the Houston Texans ahead of their Week 1 contest against the Indianapolis Colts. (Aaron Wilson on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Akers flashed game-breaking ability out of the backfield during the preseason for the Texans, but will be sidelined for the season-opening contest. Joe Mixon will handle the majority of backfield touches, with Damion Pierce operating as the backup to Mixon Sunday against the Colts.
