Chase's status for Sunday will be up in the air heading into the weekend. He has alluded to the fact that he's willing to play without a new contract, but it remains unclear if he intends to do so or if he and the team will reach an agreement prior to game time. With Tee Higgins (hamstring) doubtful to play, Joe Burrow may not be a strong starter in Week 1 of the season, especially if Chase is limited or out.
