Fantasy Impact:
This is the first positive development for Chase's Week 1 status after things started to appear to be turning south in recent days. Chase has been holding in this offseason for a new contract (in Year 4 of his rookie deal and set to play on his fifth-year extension in 2025) and has been involved to this point outside of actually practicing. With Wednesday marking the first official in-season practice for Cincinnati, this is a step in the right direction on Chase missing no time. He was drafted on average as the half-PPR WR4 (overall No. 7), easing the nerves of managers who drafted him in the first round. His career per-game averages projected over 17 games is 101-1,404-11.
