James Robinson released by Saints ahead of cutdowns

Fantasy Impact:
Robinson was involved in N.O.'s preseason journey, carrying the ball 15 times for 68 yards for a 4.53 yards per carry (ypc) average. He has become a journeyman since his 2021 Achilles tear as a Jacksonville Jaguar, spending time with both New York teams, New England, Green Bay, and New Orleans. He will likely land on another practice squad, though he has seen little opportunity or success post-injury (404 attempts, 4.5 ypc from 2020-21; 111 attempts, 3.8 ypc from 2022-present).
