Dolphins cut LaMichael James

The Dolphins have cut LaMichael James. Even though James started Sunday's game against Washington listed as the team's punt and kick returner, it was Jarvis Landry who handled punting duties. James fumbled the kickoff to start the second half. The cut makes room for tight end Jake Stoneburner who the team has promoted from the practice squad. (Sun Sentinel)
Fantasy Impact:
The move makes sense for the Dolphins who had one TE left on the field after Dion Sims left the game with a concussion. Jarvis Landry, who returned a punt for a touchdown on Sunday, may reclaim both return duties now which increases his fantasy value in leagues that apply return yards to individual players.
