Russell Wilson (calf) misses practice, day to day

Pittsburgh Steelers QB Russell Wilson was held out of practice on Thursday with a calf injury and is considered day to day, says head coach Mike Tomlin. (Ryan Risky on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Wilson was one of Pittsburgh's key offseason acquisition and is currently the favorite to land the starting QB gig in 2024. However, given the addition of QB Justin Fields as well, it can be assumed that Wilson will want to miss as little time as possible to maintain his lead on the role. He should be fine and will likely want to let his calf heal so it does not linger into the regular season. Wilson currently has an ADP of QB23, according to FantasyPros data.
