Fields was set to begin the season as the backup to Russell Wilson until Wilson suffered a calf injury preparing for the Week 1 contest. The Steelers will evaluate Wilson’s calf during pregame warmups and will make a definitive decision as to who will be QB1 against the Falcons for head coach Mike Tomlin Sunday.
