Daniel Scott out for season with Achilles rupture

Daniel Scott ruptured his Achilles last week during practice and will miss the entirety of the 2024 season. This comes after Scott missed his entire rookie campaign with a torn ACL. (Ari Meirov on X)
Fantasy Impact:
Scott was a fifth-round pick for the Colts in 2023 and came into the league with elite athleticism. Unfortunately, he will now miss his second season in a row and won't see any game action until at least next year. Scott was slated to be a second-stringer on the Colts' defense, so it looks like the Colts will need to seek more depth in their secondary. Currently, Trevor Denbow and Kendell Brooks are the third and fourth stringers in the strong safety slot and are looking at increased roles on the Colts defense.
