Tim Boyle released by New York Jets

The New York Jets have released veteran QB Tim Boyle following his Week 13 start in the team's loss to the Atlanta Falcons. (Josina Anderson on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Boyle started the last two games for New York after the team decided to bench former No. 2 pick Zach Wilson. Despite their desire for change, Boyle didn't provide any spark, completing 62.3% of his passes for one touchdown, four interceptions and just 4.7 yards per attempt in his three appearances as a Jet. In his place, the Jets have signed QB Brett Rypien.
