A bit of a surprise here: #Packers have released CB Shemar Jean-Charles, according to a source. Excellent special teams player who was competing for a slot position. Team played rookie Carrington Valentine in the slot late in camp to see if he could do it.

Jean-Charles had been a productive special teamer for the Packers in the past but looks to have lost out on a roster spot to rookie Carrington Valentine. He will look to find a new home elsewhere.
