Fantasy Impact:
Darnold will earn $37.5 million guaranteed in year one next season. The second year includes $27.5 million overall and $17.5 million guaranteed, but it does not kick into the contract until after the Super Bowl. It remains to be seen if Seattle will take a chance on a quarterback in the NFL Draft this year or potentially wait till the 2026 NFL Draft. Seattle does have a plethora of picks to where it can take a chance on a quarterback on day two if it chooses to.
