Larry Rountree III signs with Houston Friday

As reflected on the team website, former Chargers RB Larry Rountree III has agreed to a deal with the Houston Texans. (Texans.com)
Fantasy Impact:
Rountree spent the last two years as a low-depth chart backup behind Austin Ekeler in LA and now joins a Texans' backfield with obvious competition ahead of him. Dameon Pierce is the clear lead-back, and the Texans also brought in Devin Singletary to supplement Pierce. Given the circumstances, it is hard to see Rountree earning much playing time in 2023.
