According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Denver Broncos WR Tim Patrick was confirmed to have a torn Achilles by head coach Sean Payton, effectively ending his season. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Patrick missed the 2022 campaign due to a torn ACL that cost him a season. Now, for the second season in a row, a preseason injury has taken away a year for Patrick. Before injury, Patrick had consecutive seasons of at least 50 catches, 700 yards and five touchdowns. Patrick will be 30 during the 2024 season and removed from two major injuries, making the likelihood of him returning to fantasy relevance unfortunately low.
