C.J. Stroud putting in extra work amidst QB competition

C.J. Stroud has requested additional film to help him prepare him for the potential starting QB job, and is staying focused on getting better each day as he and Davis Mills continue to split first-team reps. (Deepi Sidhu)
Fantasy Impact:
While it may seem that Stroud becoming the starting QB is inevitable, the team continues to split the practice reps with the starting unit. Fantasy managers may have to wait until August 10th to know who the starter will be, which is when the Texans take on the Patriots in their preseason opener.
