According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Indianapolis Colts rookie S Daniel Scott tore his ACL on the last play of OTAs last week and was placed on injured reserve, ending his season. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Scott was a fifth-round pick out of California and a super athletic safety prospect, testing in the 90th percentile of most drills at the 2023 NFL Combine. Scott had reportedly been playing well. The Colts lose some rotational depth at defensive back, and the 24-year-old rookie safety will miss out on his rookie campaign. Rodney Thomas II and Trevor Denbow are now slotted to be the main pieces for Indy at deep safety.
