The Dolphins have exercised Tua Tagovailoa‘s fifth-year option. He will make a guaranteed $23.2 million for the 2024 season. (Mike Garafolo on Twitter )

This move appears to signal that Tagovailoa will be the quarterback in Miami for at least next season. The 25-year-old was limited to 13 games in 2022 due to multiple concussions, but registered 3548 passing yards, 25 touchdowns, and a 64.8% completion percentage.
